How we work with you

You know who is handling the work and what happens next.

We agree a named contact, the tasks we will take on and the information we need from you. The plan sets out the fee, review dates and any specialist work outside our scope.

Before work begins

We start by understanding your plans.

For a new service, we ask who you want to support, where you plan to operate, your budget and what is already in place. For an existing provider, we ask what has happened, who is involved and when you need a response.

During the project

We prepare the work and review it with you.

Set the work plan

Break the project into tasks and agree who will provide each item of information.

Draft and check

Prepare the documents and analysis. Check that they match how your service will actually operate.

Prepare your team

Work through the application, interview or meeting with the people who will be responsible for the service.

Finish and follow up

Hand over the agreed documents, outstanding actions and working systems. Continue with the support agreed in your package.

A named point of contact

You should not have to chase several people to know where you stand.

We agree who is coordinating the work, when you will hear from us and what needs your decision. Your work plan shows what is complete, what is outstanding and what depends on another party.

Responsibilities

Taking on the workload does not remove your responsibilities.

We help prepare, coordinate and explain the work. You approve the service plans and remain accountable for the business and care delivered. Where a solicitor, clinician, architect or other specialist is needed, that role is agreed before the relevant work starts.

We cannot guarantee registration, inspection ratings or contract awards. We can tell you what our work includes and keep you informed as it progresses.
